Carbonate oil and gas reservoirs in Russia are present at all stages of field development. Mature fields in Volga-Urals and Timan-Pechora basins, green fields in Eastern Siberia and the Northern seas are noted for the complex structure of the pore system and variety of fluid types.This year we hold the fifth workshop on carbonates where the participants will discuss the full cycle of EandP of carbonate fields. We will pay special attention to the trends of the last three years:Companies "easting": Big carbonates projects are brought into production in East Siberian petroleum province, often associated with unique geology.Large scale implementation of proppant and acid proppant fracturing for carbonates.Development of EOR for carbonates.Digital core and core tomography for production stimulation efficiency analysis.Development of local simulator for bottomhole treatment designImproved technologies for production stimulation (foam system and hybrid fracturing)Workshop Sessions:1.
