Lewy body dementia (LBD) is a brain disease involving two related clinical disorders: dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and Parkinson's disease dementia (PDD). DLB is the second most common form of degenerative dementia in the elderly next to Alzheimer's disease (AD). This half day virtual CME course is intended to educate health care providers on detection, diagnosis, treatment and care management of Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) and to educate healthcare providers on best practices around diagnosis disclosure and become familiar with important referrals that help patients and families address the daily difficulties associated with LBD.
