A host of speakers from Henry Royce Institute, BRE, Avon Protection and Universities including Loughborough, Nottingham and University College London will join together on the 29 November 2018 for our exciting one-day event that looks at how materials in healthcare, air quality, defence and safety can protect people in society. In recognition of the need for society to respond to the modern-day challenges such as terrorism, natural disasters, climate change, and an ageing population, the third event in the IOM3 Materials Protecting Society series will emphasise the important role of materials in developing solutions to the many challenges that arise. The jam-packed programme includes three diverse sessions by experts in industry and academia that you won't want to miss!
