Dear Friends and Colleagues, It is with great enthusiasm and anticipation that we invite you to join us for the 6th FLASH Radiotherapy and Particle Therapy Conference (FRPT 2026), which will be held in the vibrant and historic city of Lisbon, and online, from 2–5 December 2026. While the incidence of newly diagnosed cancers is forecasted to double by 2070 and the challenge of global access to oncology treatment needs to be overcome, innovation in radiation oncology can address these issues and ensure sustainable healthcare, personalized and cost-effective treatments. The FRPT series (FLASH Radiotherapy and Particle Therapy) is the meeting where physics meets cure. It has been committed to provide pivotal gathering, a chance for leading researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to come together and explore the latest breakthroughs. In 2026, to promote further innovation, we are opening a new branch by welcoming the innovators developing Spatially fractionated radiotherapy (SFRT). In 2026, FRPT will become FRPT-SFRT Conference to advance cancer cure and fundamental knowledge. FRPT-SFRT 2026 will highlight new scientific findings, emerging clinical applications, and technological innovations, all presented in a friendly, collaborative atmosphere. This is a multidisciplinary conference designed to foster knowledge exchange, build partnerships, and inspire progress in FLASH RT, Particle Therapy and SFRT. With the guidance of our distinguished Scientific Committee and International Advisory Board, FRPT-SFRT 2026 will feature a comprehensive program, including plenary sessions, expert-led workshops, and panel topical discussions as well as a workshop dedicated to minibeam.
