EIT Manufacturing Summit is a major annual event bringing together participants from industry, academia and research, as well as entrepreneurs, policymakers, and citizens, for three days of discussion and debate about Europe’s manufacturing sector. While manufacturing is undergoing a dynamic digital transformation, this transition can only succeed if it is centred around people and environmentally sustainable. European industry needs to keep the future of manufacturing work human-centred by leveraging the possibilities of innovation to ensure that work has purpose, is inclusive and allows for personalisation.
