Memo

The Education Unit of ATINER is organizing a Stream on “Case Teaching and Case Research”, 18-21 December 2017, Athens, Greece as part of the 11th Annual International Conference on Global Studies: Business, Economic, Political, Social and Cultural Aspects sponsored by the Athens Journal of Education.

This stream (roundtable) welcomes abstracts for papers discussing various issues surrounding the use of teaching cases in the post-secondary classroom and the research and development of such cases. Suggested topics might be: Comparison of case usage with other teaching methodologies; issues concerning identification of appropriate topics for cases; development of an effective instructor’s manual; comparative case research, etc. You may participate as presenter of one paper, chair or/and organizer of a session, or observer.

Fee structure information is available on www.atiner.gr/fees.

Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A pragmatic symposium (as organized in Ancient Athens but fine tuned to synchronous ethics), a special one-day educational island tour, an Athens educational walking tour, and an one-day visit to Delphi.
