Asia Climate Forum is the dedicated climate change and environmental services exhibition and conference for Asia, Africa and the Pacific Islands. For 2020, Asia Climate Forum will form part of CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESG) 2020 (organised by the Singapore National Environment Agency), and be co-located with Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) and World Cities Summit (WCS). With an anticipated attendance of 25,000 participants, this is Asia's largest environmental event. Asia Climate Forum comprises three complementary events: - The 7th InterMET Asia (weather impact forecasting and climate services)- The 3rd InterFLOOD Asia (Flood management, mitigation and resilience)- InterAIR Asia (Air quality and pollution measurement, monitoring and alerting) Rapid urbanisation and population growth make Asia highly vulnerable to extreme weather, climate change, flood events, and air pollution. Most at risk are the many weather affected public and private enterprises and critical infrastructure systems critical to economy and society, such as transport, energy, communications, water supply, food and agriculture, and public health. The challenges they face are huge and growing and innovative technologies plus public/private/academic sector co-operation are crucial to managing and mitigating them, and to developing resilience and adaptability. These challenges present major business opportunities to assist 'weather affected' enterprises. For example, by providing data products and services which enable city authorities and planners to develop monitoring and early warning systems, and have direct application in such areas as electric and autonomous vehicles; energy efficient buildings; urban renewable energy; real time urban and coastal flood mapping; and public health. This is a 'must attend' event for the many weather affected organisations which need to respond to the impacts that extreme weather and climate change will have on the viability of their activities.
