The program endeavors to provide research,academic,and clinical information in a format that emphasizesthe practical application of current concepts relevant to officepractice and to professionals involved in the care of children.Pediatric, Family Practice and Emergency Room Physicians,as well as Physician Assistants, Nurses and Nurse Practitionersreport that they consistently benefit from their participation inthis program, where nationally recognized guest faculty presenta series of lectures that are complemented by UCSF faculty andBay Area experts speaking about a variety of other current orcontroversial pediatric issues, which will ultimately result inbetter care for children of all ages, infants through adolescents.This year’s course focuses on emergency medicine, infectiousdiseases, craniofacial, pulmonary, dermatology, and anxiety.
