From 14 to 17 September, 2015 the “Werkstoffwoche 2015 – Materials for the Future” will take place for the first time in the Messe Dresden.

The organizers are the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde e.V. (DGM) and the Stahlinstitut VDEh. The "Werkstoffwoche 2015" is the main Congress with a Technical Exhibition to address all the application oriented questions regarding the topic “Materials for the Future“.

In practice-oriented lectures, symposia und seminars high-level representatives from science and the industry will present the latest developments and trends to all the key technologies and application fields. The Werkstoffwoche presents the latest products and process developments by bringing together the materials experts from the industry and science. At the same time, it is the platform to discuss solutions to user problems or to find the industry partner for the next successful cooperation project.

The Technical Exhibition “Materials for the Future“ provides the best conditions for the presentation of products to manufacturers, agents and users of materials as well as to manufacturers of machines, equipment and testing facilities. Manufacturers and service providers from neighbouring disciplines round out the portfolio of exhibitors.
