C3S2E'14 :

Seventh International C* Conference on Computer Science & Software Engineering

Concordia Univesity Montreal and On-line on ConfSys

August 4-6, 2014

C3S2E'14 Call for Papers/Participation

C3S2E14[*] is the seventh in a series of annual international

conferences addressing the needs of the academic community in

computing science and software engineering. The objective of

C3S2E is to meet annually to exchange ideas on current issues and

focus on new challenges from both the theoretical and application

aspects of CSE. C3S2E encourages the participation of

practitioners from governmental and non-governmental agencies,

industry, and academia not only from CSE but also from other

disciplines with the potential of collaboration. The meeting

offers participants a chance to broaden their insight into the

multi-facets of CSE and emerging technologies while exploring R&D

ideas in other disciplines as well, where CSE can make meaningful

contributions.

C3S2E invites quality papers describing original ideas and new

findings on applied technological and theoretical aspects of CSE

or in other disciplines with potential for applying and extending

the CSE horizons. In particular we welcome submissions describing

work on integrating new technologies into products and

applications, on experiences with existing and novel techniques,

and on the identification of unsolved challenges. We consider

this meeting to be an unique and important forum to discuss

insights into applying and extending all aspects of computing and

software engineering methodologies in novel situations.

The scope of the conference includes the following topics but is

not restricted to these areas in computing and software

engineering: following are some of the topics typically used by

Invited Talks

A number of invited speakers would round up the final program of C3S2E'14.

Conference Venue

Taking into account, the increasing cost of registration and

travel costs, as well as the CO2 contribution due to the movement

of people over large distances, we have decided to experiment

with holding this meeting with both a 'real' and a 'on-line' part

without sacrificing the quality. Hence, the paper submission and

review process would be as in the past. All papers would be

reviewed by the program committee. In the past there were over

3.5 reviews paper paper and this practice would be continued.

The meeting would be held at the venue as per schedule. However,

for those authors whose budget and/or conscience dictate that

they not travel, we offer to have their presentation available on

line. Such presentations would include audio presentations along

with the traditional slides. It must also have full contact

information(email, phone number and Skype or similar address).

Conference Publication

The conference proceedings will be published by ACM; the ISBN assigned by

ACM to C3S2E'14 is 978-1-4503-2712-1

A version of the proceedings to be distributed to the attendees would be

prepared BytePress
