Memo

Not only has the pandemic fuelled life science investment, but it has also made us realise the importance of seamless R and D operations and lab facility requirements. Over the last 2 years we have seen huge investments into expanding R and D infrastructure within Europe; including a new £500m new biocluster in Canary Wharf in London, Velo3D opening a new European technical centre in Germany and the LabConnect announcement of increasing their footprint in Europe.Amidst these investments and expansion plans in the LS sector, Lab Operations, R and D Asset and Facility leaders in biopharma are playing an increasingly vital role to ensure internal capabilities and external supplier management are fit-for-purpose to support their scientific teams and R and D pipeline progression.Having established our flagship Lab Asset and Facility Management in Pharma Summit community in Boston, we are dedicated to serving the European industry with our inaugural meeting in 2023. In collaboration with GSK, Roche/Genentech, Sanofi and Bayer we will unite 80+ Laboratory Managers, Lab Ops, R and D Asset Management, Lab Facility heads to:- Share their strategy and discuss asset utilisation and inventory management best practice in the distributed and fragmented European markets with multiple local sites- Optimise R and D spend through asset tracking and surplus management with digitisation and advanced LIMS systems- Explore novel third party supplier and maintenance agreement to ensure seamless lab operations- Strive for continuous process improvements and facility design to enable rapid expansion and internal capabilities – should we build, or should we retrofit?- Evaluate lab space design and facility management to facilitate scientific collaborationsURLs:Tickets: https://go.evvnt.com/1420447-2?pid=5569 Brochure: https://go.evvnt.com/1420447-3?pid=5569   Date and Time: On Tuesday March 28, 2023 at 8:00 am to Thursday March 30, 2023 at 5:10 pmVenue details: Hilton London Olympia, 380 Kensington High Street, London, England, W14 8NL, United Kingdom   Prices:Conference - Vendors: GBP 2999.00,Conference - Drug Developer or Academic: GBP 2199.00Speakers: Amellalih Reza Salgado, Data Integrity and Computerised System Validation, Bayer, Andrew Palfreeman, Senior Manager - Operations Support, QuellTX Ltd, Christiane Glanzmann, Global Expert Laboratory Workplace Strategy, Roche, Davide Maggiano, Facility and EHS Manager, Abbott Laboratories, Doris Ceka, Assistant Laboratory manager, Takeda Pharmaceutical Co.
