The Transportation Engineering Unit of ATINER organizes A Stream on “Sustainability and Transportation”, 4-7 June 2018, Athens, Greece as part of the 4th Annual International Conference on Transportation, sponsored by the Athens Journal of Τechnology & Engineering.

The aim of the stream is to create a forum for exchanging ideas and research findings on the area of sustainability and sustainable transportation concepts and solutions. Current budgetary constraints, environmental concerns, and multimodal transportation mobility needs require a more systemic approach in developing sustainable transportation solutions. This stream will engage researchers and practitioners on a global discussion on how to achieve this and continuously promote ideas to enhance current activities aiming to increase sustainable transportation options for all users.

You may participate as presenter of one paper, chair or/and organizer of a session, or observer.

Fee structure information is available on www.atiner.gr/2018fees.

Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A pragmatic symposium (as organized in Ancient Athens but fine tuned to synchronous ethics), a special one-day educational island tour, a Mycanae and island of Poros visit, an Athens educational walking tour, an one-day visit to Delphi and an ancient Corinth and Cape Sounion visit.
