ACI’s 13th Carbon Dioxide Utilization Summit will follow on from our successful series of conferences focusing on the re-use of greenhouse gas CO2 and converting this into profitable sustainable and commercial materials. It will be taking place in Calgary, Canada on the 11th & 12th of September 2019, and it’s a one-time special edition of this event. The two day event will bring together senior experts from various CO2 emitting industries discussing sustainable, technological and commercial aspects of CO2 Utilization in Canada and across the globe. With technology comparisons focusing on economic, environmental, and social indicators, our panel of speakers will highlight knowledgeable insights into commercial application and development of technology and products. Exclusive Site Visit: Innotech Alberta Carbon Conversion Centre Alberta During the Tuesday afternoon, a day prior to the conference, a limited number of conference delegates will receive the unique opportunity to visit the Innotech Alberta Carbon Conversion Technology Centre, InnoTech Alberta, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alberta Innovates, was established to facilitate the conversion of applied research to economic, social and environmental benefits for Alberta. InnoTech links basic research and commercial outcomes in accordance with the strategic directions for research and innovation set out by the Government of Alberta. This is achieved by operating laboratories, performing applied research and development, and delivering laboratory services in key areas of strength, in multiple locations within the province for government and industry clients. There is no extra charge to attend the site visit, but spaces are limited and allocated to the conference delegates on a first come first served basis.
