Memo

The 22nd Annual State-of-the-Art Echo Course has been developed by Mayo Clinic in Collaboration with Columbia Medical Center to provide the most recent as well as traditionally established guidelines for evaluation of cardiac structure, function, and hemodynamics which are essential for patient management and cardiac clinical trials. This course will familiarize attendees with recent technological advances in the field. Nationally renowned experts in echocardiography, valvular heart disease, and new imaging modalities will present the most up-to-date information, with live case demonstrations of basic and advanced echocardiography modalities (2-D, 3-D, Doppler hemodynamics, and strain imaging). The meeting will start with a half day special session on POCUS and hemodynamic workshops. At the end of each day, the faculty will share interesting and educational cases with the audience. Sufficient time will be allocated to discussion at each session where the attendees can provide input and also ask questions. The participants are encouraged to interact with the faculty members and also the industry partners. INTENDED AUDIENCEThe course is intended for anesthesiologists, cardiologists, ED physicians, critical care physicians, fellows, sonographers, and medical professionals who are interested in a comprehensive review of echocardiography and an introduction to the newest advances in the field. Time: on Thursday June 04, 2020 at 7:00 am (ends Sunday June 07, 2020 at 5:00 pm)
