The Israel Ministry of Tourism, the Jerusalem Development Authority and The Israel Incoming Tour Operators Association joined forces to initiate the International Tourism Security Summit (ITSS) to be held on October 7-9, 2018 in Jerusalem.
ITSS is a wide platform for major decision-makers in tourism and destination marketing, in which knowledge and experience will be shared, ideas will be exchanged and mutual learning will occur so that each attendee will gain a ready to use toolkit to be taken back home and implemented.
This pioneering summit looks at the intersections of tourism with security and crises, with regards to crisis management, crisis communication, destination image management and recovery marketing. The summit is a meeting place for any travel and tourism decision maker, marketer, operator and security professional that may be affected by a crisis or a security event.
